24/7 My heaven

Before I forget them, here are some lol! moments from 2008 that I was thinking about earlier.
1. Ilhwan was in our dorm, and he walked out of the lounge and was walking back towards our room when a girl came out of the bathroom in front of him, wrapped only in a towel. He turned right back around and went back to the lounge. XDDDDDd hahahahahah it was the funniest thing. I laughed so hard, because I saw it all.
2. Gretchen and I went to a fail dance party one night and so we decided to haveone in our room instead. Our pretty lights were on and we were dancing sillily (I made it a word -_-) to music, and suddenly that one song came on...she'll have to tell you what it was called, but basically it was very '80s, and I was really hyper so suddenly I was holding on to one of the bedposts and just dancing frontwards and backwards and shaking my head around--like, I was jogging in place-- and it was so freaking hilarious that Gretchen almost peed her pants and I fell on the floor crying. hahahahaaah. I'd have to demonstrate. hhhhaahhaa. We told another one of our friends that story recently and as soon as Gretchen started talking about it I started crying because I was laughing so hard. hahahahah *wipes tears away* I was born in the freaking wrong decade.
3. When we were visiting Hwan's apartment last weekend or something, he cooked Korean food for us, and we were talking about rice. In both Korean and Japanese, the word for "rice" is used to mean "meal." So I told them the Japanese word for rice, which is gohan. Hwan kind of chuckled and said, "Thats kind of a funny word." And we were like.... "Why?" And he said..."Ah, its kind of inappropriate." (LOL). So we were like ...."Go on." And he said that its another word for a man's ...oh, what did he say...nuts or something. So we were like..."niiice." And I said, "Well, as long as I don't say, 'Gohan chwuseyo.'" ---That would mean, 'Give me -------,' in Korean. lolololol. So we laughed really hard and then he mumbled something and I was like, "Did you say 'fantastic'?"??? And he was like "Noo, I said interesting!!!" So we laughed some more. lololol.

Do these seem like lol moments to you? They do to me. XDDD

When I go home for Winter Break I will miss:
1. The posters on my wall -__-
2. Not being around my parents all the time?
3. Going to bed whenever I want and not tripping up any stairs in the dark.
4. ....this will sound unlikely, but I kind of like my bed at school.

What I will not miss:
1. All the stupid people on my floor that stay up till all hours screaming. I hope they don't come back to school in January.
2. Schoolwork ^_^
3. Being so far away from my friends!
4. My laptop speakers. they suck. I intend to make full use of my home computer's bass booster while I'm home.

I plan to study Japanese and Korean, hang out with all my friends, and finish some fics during Winter Break.

And onto the Big Bang Theory. If you're not a Kpop fan then I totally just fooled you.

--Big Bang just won Inkigayo for the third week in a row, winning over DBSK's 'Wrong Number.' I'm really happy for Big Bang! I love those guys! But you know, at the same time, I feel bad for my dong bang boys. So it got me thinking about all the things people complain about either group when they're sticking up for their fandom.

1. Big Bang doesn't dance as well as DBSK, that is true. Do you know why? BECAUSE THEY'RE SINGERS.
2. DBSK is more versatile. They do more genres. They have great voices. Their new album was great. But why did they use electronica in almost every single song? -__- They debuted as an acappella group, did you know that?
3. When Big Bang uses electronica, I kind of expect it from them. In that way, their new album was really consistent, and IT WAS REALLY AWESOME. I like Big Bang's new album better than DBSK's -___-
4. DBSK is better looking, and their personalities seem more defined. But then, I haven't seen as much behind-the-scenes kind of stuff with Big Bang. And besides that, their looks and personalities don't have anything to do with their songs.
5. I don't know if any member of DBSK could ever go solo (NOT BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE THE TALENT, NO NO NO) but because who would be able to support them when their hearts were broken over the fact that someone in DBSK is going solo? ;_; Whereas what, 3, members of Big Bang have already gone solo? The thing about BB is that each character is really dynamic. GD can do whatever the heck he wants, cuz who's gonna stop him? and Tae Yang is clearly the Justin Timberlake of Korea, and Daesung sang in 'Cats,' right? Its really strange to see all of BB together, but they look like they have a heck of time. My point is, it seems like BB came together just to be BB, but DBSK came together and then BECAME DBSK. DBSK is who they are, and I don't know if they could ever be comfortable outside that. Which is fine, but its a difference between the two groups.
6. People say that BB's music sounds all the same. But people also say that about DBSK, don't they? I would tend to agree that BB's stuff is less varied, but I love their music. Its a lot less likely for them to make a song you won't like than DBSK. So BB is consistent (but won't try new things?) and DBSK goes out on a limb (and occasionally makes crappy songs)(like Rainbow on the Mirotic album -__-).
7. I think BB writes more of their lyrics. TOP and GD are better rappers than Yunho and Yoochun (not that I always prefer them -__-). But TOP and GD do not sing. Yunho and Yoochun do. And both groups have lyrics that sound like everybody elses. Love, girls, broken hearts. Yeah okay. I've heard it.
8. DBSK IS BETTER LIVE.
9. BB'S SONGS ARE REALLY ENERGETIC AND YOU JUST GOTTA DANCE.

In conclusion, DBSK's got the looks, the dance moves, the voices, the personalities. And BB's got the music that makes you want to groove. That may seem like the scale tipped a lot in one direction, but in my book, they are pretty equal. Dong Bang boys get points for the history we have together, BB gets points for the history we don't have together, and I will continue to listen to them both, because they're both good. They split awards for the year 2008 even despite the fact that DBSK was barely in Korea this year, and congratulations to both of them. I like it when Jae and Chun talk about their friend TOP. And did I mention I brainstormed a DBSK-Big Bang fic? XDD

OH BTW here's some videos for you, One Big Bang, one DBSK. ^_^

Big Bang--Heaven

DBSK at the Golden Disc Awards--Are you a Good Girl? and Mirotic Remix!!!!

Don't forget to click 'Watch in high quality,' don't be blinded by TOP's glasses or DBSK's outfits, and try not to faint when you see Jaejoong's glaring chest. -___-

EDIT: Who am I kidding, I love DBSK more any day.
Am I kidding? You'll never know
LOL

I'm gonna keep studying now -_____- 11.5 hours and counting until KCiv exam.
