Have I mentioned lately how much I hate medial professionals?

Just got back from the doctor (re: going over my MRI).  I  do not have a torn meniscus, apparently.  I was bummed that I didn't actually get to see the MRI of my knee, just for fun. But anyway, the whole appointment has made me really frustrated (there may be tears).

I had mentioned to the nurse going in that I had started to get pain around my knee cap as well as the aches in the back. When the doctor came in to tell me that my meniscus was not torn, he said that I might have done something to my patella, which is common in women, apparently, because our hips are wider.

That's fine and dandy and all, but does not explain why it HURTS IN THE BACK.  I tried to reiterate that several times and never got a clear response about why that may be.  I kept trying to ask questions and he kept trying to leave and the whole thing felt very rushed.  I  was able to ask if I should wear a brace (if I wanted, that would protect the knee), get a referral to physical therapy, and a note for work saying that I should be sitting 1/2 an hour of EVERY HOUR (which will please my bosses, I'm sure).

It was only when I  went up to the front desk with my paperwork and looked at it that I noticed he had marked "knee sprain" on the list of injuries.  So...I guess that's whats wrong with me?

I'm really frustrated.  Why can't someone just tell me WHATS WRONG??  Why does it hurt in the BACK?  Why does it suddenly hurt WORSE in the front?  NO ONE WILL TELL ME.

Excuse me as I go cry some more.
