I'm totally gonna jinx this, but...
It looks like I'm finally getting my knee MRI tomorrow! I won't go over it with the doctor until next Monday (the 26th), though, so stay tuned!
I had to wait AGAIN for the worker's comp insurance to call me back, and when they did yesterday, the lady (new lady) asked if I'd heard from their third party medical people yet. Nope, I said. "Well, if they don't call by mid-afternoon, call them," insurance lady said, giving me the info. If I was still unable to make an appointment, I would need to call her in the morning (because I love leaving her voice mails and waiting for days to hear back).
So, of course, no word from third party medical people by around 3, so I called them. They have the approval and all my info, except for the name of my claims adjuster. I have no idea what that means, but maybe its the lady I've been talking to lately, so I give them her info, and of course she doesn't answer (they never do). The medical lady, though, tells me that we can make an appointment for a few days out just to be safe, and hopefully they'll hear from her by then. We go over a few details about whether I'm claustrophobic or if I have metal in my body, and then she puts me on hold while she calls a place in town that's fairly close to me to make the appointment, via a three-way phone call, which is the weirdest thing ever, in case you didn't know.
But we do that, and the first available is for tomorrow at 7:15 am, which is fine with me, I'm up at that hour for work anyway. Voila, I'm scheduled (though, I got the impression that the MRI receptionist thought this three-way thing was just as weird as I did).
Now lets just PRAY that when I go in tomorrow, there are no complications.
