I Need Some Reassurance...
Someone proposed an absolutely terrifying thing on FB and now I can't get it out of my head. I need someone to tell me that this is scientifically implausible:
You know how in the Middle East they will set oil fields on fire to prevent anyone getting the oil? Well, what if during hurricane season all that oil gets picked up and aerosolized into the hurricane and something happens to spark it and we get hit with hurricanes of FIRE?????
Please tell me that is only something that could happen in a story that I am now considering writing????
