Johnson Hall Security Guards
Yesterday, I swiped my card, and neither of the guards paid any attention. I was like, wow, I could totally be a serial killer.
Today, I swiped my card, and yet again they were not paying attention. I started walking towards mail boxes. One of the guards called me back to come swipe my card again. I told her I already did. She said she needed to see it. I told her that maybe she should look at it when I swipe it. Some black girl in the background goes "Oh my gosh," in a Whitney sort of way. As if I was wrong, and the security guard was correct.
It's not like these people have a hard job. She was sitting there, talking to some girls about something that could not have been more important than the security of our building. You literally get paid to sit there. You can even read or do other work while you're on the clock. There is no excuse to not look at my card the first time I swipe it and furthermore it is especially inappropriate to ask me to come back to the desk to swipe again when your lazy ass should have been doing your job.
"Did I mention that you both suck dot com?"
