Whenever I'm asked if I miss meat, I can say honestly that I don't. There's nothing remotely compelling about eating meat that I miss in the seven years I went veggie. The convience of it is something of a loss, but once you know what to do and what to avoid, it's not a problem.
The other day, though, we were talking about our favorite foods as children and how it progressed. My friends was cheerios, chicken nuggets, pizza, and now sushi. Mine were hot dogs, potatoes, Parmesan Chicken, and now pizza. Not exactly a progression of maturity.
But it got me thinking, there are veggie dogs, there's veggie gyros, why not veggie Paremesan chicken? Surprisingly, it took a while to find a recipe, and when I did it was discgustingly simple. Pasta, sauce, boca chik'n, more sauce, cheese, bake. Not rocket science, but definetly needs some Bari love.
I've been working on it for a few weeks now and haven't gotten it right yet. Luckily I've never messed it up so bad I've had to give it to Staley, but it's going to take some time.
Second, got a question for y'all: Should I make this a public journal once again? I'm not too keen on posting everything public, but I often feel I'm putting stuff out into the internet that only two people are reading.
I wouldn't put everything public, just some of my less private things. Any thoughts?
