CHAPTER SIX
November 9
Dear Diary,
I managed to attend the grudge match today although my once a month transformation coming up has left me feeling rather ill. Hufflepuff steamrollered Slythering, fortunatly and a small victory party was held on the field afterwards. I regret Diary that I was unable to go due to my condition. I'ms rue that I wlil hear all about soon enough though. Speaking of my ailment I had to have someon else cover my tutoring session tonight, luckily Ginny Weasley was perfectly willing to do so for me. I must go, Professor is here with my Wolfsbane.

Dear Diary,
One thing a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry must always remember is this: if you see Peeves the Poltereits run in the other direction as fast you can. I daresay if the Bloody Baron had not shown up when he did all of those poor little first years' robes would have been ruined. Of course Peeves has never bee one for sublety (he dropped, or at least tried to drop, molassus on their heads) and it always ends up being a huge mess. Also if you happen to see Filch or Mrs. Norris you should also run as fast as you can in the other direction.
I saw another picture of the Dark Mark in the Daily Prophet. Let us just say that the Creevy Brothers Colin and Dennis have been excused from class for the next couple of days. There have been talks of setting up a support grop for those who have lost loved ones but the numbers are growing so fast that the staff is not sure that they could bring in someone who would be able to handle all of them. I can only hope that I will not be the next one to receive a letter saying that Death has come knocking on my parents door.

Dear Diary,
Dumbledore was really showing his age today. The ever present twinkle in his eye had dulled and heseemed to be stooping a little mroe today then he has in days past. It will be a sad day in the wizarding world when Dumbledore makes the final journey if you know what I mean. If he goes so does the school . I can only hope I'm around to attend the funeral. I heard Draco Malfoy say that he hoped that Dumbledore wouldn't live to see the final attack by Voldemort. Needless to say him, Ron, Neville Longbottome, and Dean Thomas all ended up in the Hospital lWling along with Harry, Crabbe, and Goyle who had also joined the fray.
The halls inside Hogwarts have become considerable colder and the students have been huddling closer to their cauldrons in Potions. The torches have to be continually lit and re-lit becasue of the cold and drafty winds that keep coming into the castle and I even had to put on gloves before coming out of the infirmary. Oh! I almost forgot to tell you Diary, Prof. Dumbledore and Prof. Mcgonagall came to visit me today in the Hospital Wling. They told me that with the legislations Dolores Umbridge passed four years ago that there was a huge chance that I would not get into the Auror's Academy. I just didn't say anything and promptly growled and drew my curtains. I'll show them! They can't tell me what jobs I can and can not get. Prey for me Diary.
