Fiber builds bulk. I'm working on an action plan for my interview for the bulk buyer job. The task is difficult because I have no vision and no action to back it up. I can read numbers and letters though, so I think I can handle the task.
Bulk. Good word. Almost sounds like Buck--the name of my old Volvo. Buck was a work-horse, bred for gassing of convertibles and violent convulsions at 60 mph. Similarly, I was born to be a bulk buyer. I can stock a shelf quickly, and that means quite a bit in this time-obsessed society. When a bin is almost empty, I go get some more product to fill it up! Oh boy! So much pressure. But you have to be willing to take it or else you're out on the street in front of Starbucks.
Being a bulk buyer doesn't carry the prestige that it once did. Eventually it will die out like the black-smith did; all that will be left is the name--Buyer. Just like when I was wee and the kids sang, "Have you driven a Ford lately?" new kids will break out in song, "Buyer Maker? Buyer Maker? Get the Led out, Man!"
