Weight lifting is amazing. I've only been doing it for a week-and-a-half, but I've already noticed an increase in strength and endurance, especially during cardio workouts. Before weight lifting, I would be tired and winded after 8 minutes of cardio, now I can do 30 minutes no problem (except that I get bored). I probably could even do cardio for 45 - 60 minutes. I can't believe I didn't take weight lifting more seriously until now.
I'm going to have to do something to increase the difficulty of my cardio workouts, because I don't really have time to do 1 hour cardio workouts a day. I heard the Tabata protocol can be pretty intense, so I'm thinking of adding it into my cardio routine.
