So, I'm watching this show on Arirang called "Let's Learn Korean."

Why isn't there a Vietnamese show like this? There are a million Vietnamese channels on my tv, but they're all dedicated to either news, music, or dramas. The only show that comes close is a show for preschoolers that's on at night, but I can't figure out which night it's on ( or that channel for that matter, I only caught it once and wasn't paying attention). I guess I'll be stalking the tv for a week trying to find that show.

I think I can finally pronounce about 95% of the Vietnamese letters. I still get the ư and ơ sounds mixed up. Pronouncing words beginning with "r" is difficult and tiring. I also actually remember a lot of what my mom taught me when I was a kid. Still can't make any actually sentances beyond the few basic ones I learned when I was a kid ("I'm hungry/thirsty/tired/going to bed"). There's only one phrase that my mom says I can say without an accent, and that's "chúc mừng năm mới", which is a literal translation of Happy New Year...and apparently this phrase is useless in Vietnam. lol
