Now that it is official, and now that I actually have the paper work in front of me I can finally announce my...err...announcement.
After 6 years of service, I put my two week notice in at FOSSIL yesterday. I love the company, and I wish I could have stayed and advanced as I'd hoped, but unfortunately this has not happened, and I've waited too long. I was offered another job Monday (still in retail) but at almost $2/hour more than what I've made for the past year at FOSSIL. I'll probably cry on my last day, and this was a really tough decision to make on my part. However, always the optimist, I'm jumping the gun and starting my training at my new job on Sunday. Three cheers to change.
