I have contacts.
For the first time in 6 years, I had an eye appointment. Yesterday I went in for an exam, ordered new glasses and signed up for contacts. Today I went in for my "tutorial" on how to put them in, cleaning, etc. and now I am sporting them!! This is very exciting for me. What I found most amusing, however is that over the past six years my prescription has hardly changed! Next week I will go in and pick up my new frames and order some contacts provided that my eye doctor gives me a clean bill of..err...eye health.
