Update
So, I'm home for break. And I'm realizing more and more that my break isn't going to be too much of a break. Job fairs, interviews, working, visiting people, etc... So here's a nice bulletted list of my recent break agenda:
- Went to the eye doctor for my 6 month post-op visit, seeing 20/15 in both eyes =) Of course my evil med/surg teacher didn't know shit about eye surgery... I should've taught that lesson.
- I have a cracked/bruised rib. Ouchies. Not sure how I got it, probably from moving some crap home for break.
- Went to the Duke job fair thursday and friday, interviewed in their Neuro ICU and their ED. And today *gasp* I got a JOB OFFER!!!!! They already offered me a job in their Neuro Stepdown unit. Not my first choice, but still, it feels WONDERFUL to have an offer!!! Now I at least have something to fall back on. That's right, Morgan's on a roll...
- My dog likes to chew on the bottom branches of the Christmas tree. Maybe it freshens his breath? And he thinks all of the world's wreaths are out to get him.
- Went out with Amy today for our semiannual Kanki lunch, which was wonderful, as usual.
- Oh yeah, also got called for an interview at WakeMed =) (it was about time, I had applied for a good 10 jobs online)
- Finished out the semester with 2 A's, a B and 2 C's. Not too bad =) And only one more to go baby!!!!!
- Working tomorrow 7-7 and wednesday 11-11. Boo. Did I mention that I REALLY don't want to go? I hope good people are working =/ (and that they don't make me wheel anyone around on a stretcher...)
Guess that's about it... And I haven't even been home a week! Take care everybody!!
