The Tenth Apland: Keepers of the Cinder-Rose Chapter 12

Mar 27, 2012 12:56

Welcome back to The Tenth Apland: Keepers of the Cinder-Rose! I am supposed to be writing a 3-page paper right now on reason… but that's obviously not happening yet! Haha So last time in Apland land, Noel and Cruz went to France to try and find the love they had seemed to lose there, and hey! they actually found it. Bernadette teenagered. Cruz reached the top of the journalism career and fulfilled his LTW and with the points bought a genie lamp. When he went to make a wish (for riches) Noel thought he was cheating on her again with the blue woman and so they had a little bit of a fall out. Alden and Rusty bonded over their shared evilness and romance began to bloom between them. Then it was prom: Bernadette caused trouble and Alden and Rusty decided to go steady.

Now for Chapter 12!

Bernadette: "Mom! Dad! I sure hope you guys aren't fighting. You wouldn't want to miss Capri's birthday like you did Alden's!"

Alden: "I still can't believe they did that to me - their favorite child."

Bernadette: "Yeah right. You're not their favorite."

We certainly have an interesting choice in guests for this shindig. Ladies and gentleman… this might get messy.

Caprice: I wish for Mom and Dad not to fight on my birthday… actually ever.

Caprice: "Shewwww"

Morgan: "Yeah Capri, get all three of those candles."

Noel: "Tooooooot!" Just ignore the blonde bitch, just ignore her Noel. It's not worth it.

Oh shit.

Cruz has it covered, don't worry.

Noel: "Hey genie bitch, why aren't you doing something about this?! You have magic powers."

Morgan: "I can't bare to look."

Rusty: "Don't wet your pants people, I've got this covered."

Sheryl: "This party blows. These people don’t know how to party like a genie! I've thrown better parties confined in that tiny lamp! I'm out of here."

Let's try this again.

Capri: I wish that this time the cake doesn't blow up on me…

Good wish, Capri.

And here she is! She's almost the spitting image of Noel; she just has her father's eyes.

She rolled Social Butterfly as her fourth trait.

Cruz: "So if I asked for a fire alarm, would that cost me one of my wishes?"

Sheryl: "I'm afraid so."

Sheryl: "By the way, I was meaning to ask you: how well do you know this Morgan that lives with you and your family?"

Cruz: "I personally don't know her all that well, but she's my wife's guardian."

Sheryl: "I just find it strange that one of her kind would be living with you?"

Cruz: "One of her kind?"

Sheryl: "Well yeah, I mean haven't you noticed that she hasn't aged a day? And she's supposedly older than your wife?"

Cruz: "Maybe she just has great skin?"

Morgan: "Look, Capri, there's something I want to tell you. I Know that I can trust you, right?"

Caprice: "Of course you can trust me. What is it?"

Morgan: "I've never told anyone in your family this… I meant to tell your mother, but when I met her, her parents had just died, and it didn't feel like the right time. And now it's just been so long that it would be awkward to tell her. But I feel like I need to tell someone."

Caprice: "Tell someone…?"

Morgan: "I'm.. a.. Fairy."

Cruz: "A fairy? Are you sure? Do they even exist?!"

Sheryl: "I'm a genie, Cruz. I think I would know."

Capri: "A fairy? That is so cool! So are you like my fairy godmother?"

Morgan: "I guess in a way, I am. I'm your whole family's fairy godmother."

Capri: "That is so awesome! I have a fairy godmother!"

Morgan: "But remember you have to keep this a secret?"

Capri: "How come?"

Morgan: "Just for now, I'm asking you. Please."

Capri: "Fine. Your secret's safe with me."

Mistletoe is sure enjoying Noel and Cruz being back together.

After the birthday party, Sheryl just decided to stick around indefinitely. I guess it would get pretty old just living in that old lamp.

Nativity: "What is this thing? It's not a bad-lady, but it's not human either."

Teen homework party in the Apland dining room.

That evening Noel and Morgan decided to go out. They both had something that they wanted to talk to the other about, little did they know that it was the same thing.

Both: "There's something I wanted to talk to you about."

Morgan: "You first."

Noel: "Okay, so Cruz was talking to me… and he seems to think that you're a fairy. And I guess that would explain a lot, like how you aren't aging and look younger than me, even though you're actually older."

Morgan: "I'm not sure how he found out… but that's actually what I was going to talk to you about..."

Noel: "I think his little genie girlfriend told him."

Morgan: "That bitch. But yes, it's true. You're not mad are you?"

Noel: "No.. I'm just a little surprised that you've waited this long to tell me."

Morgan: "Well I wanted to tell you right away, but then your parents had just died and it didn't feel like the right time."

After their semi-awkward conversation, Noel and Morgan decided to enjoy the rest of their night out.

Starting with karaoke. The good news? Morgan actually sounds a lot like my singing - terrible. Lol

Followed by pictures in a photo booth.

And finally a game of pool.

In other news, Sheryl is still sticking around.

So all the adults went away on a "free vacation"… and the teens are all so responsible, they totally weren't going to take advantage.

Alden: "Party at my place tonight. Invite your friends. It's going to be epic."

Only three other teens showed up, but it was really quite perfect because there were two guys for Bernadette and Caprice and then Rusty for Alden.

Alden and Rusty wasted no time in getting the party started.

Capri: "Some people are so trashy."

Jordan here seemed to have a thing for Bernadette.

Jordan: I can picture her  now.. naked. I'm so going to tap that.

So Jordan jumped at the chance when Berney asked him to dance.

Robby: "Well this is certainly awkward."

Mistletoe: "Canz you guyz keep da music down? I tryz to sleep here!"

Alden: "Come here baby."

Rusty: "Oh Alden."

Robby: "Seriously where did that other chick go that Jordan promised I'd like?"

Capri: "Pizza's here guys."

Robby: I think I'm blinded by her sheer hotness. I can picture her naked now… god I'd tap that any day…

Capri: "So it's been pretty sunny and warm out lately. Summer must be just around the corner."

Robby: *dazed* "Uh huh."

Rusty: "Uhm, Alden, who's that?"

Alden: "Oh that's just Sheryl."

Rusty: "You don't think she'd turn us in, would you?"

Alden: "Nah, she's tight."

Alden: "Let's dance!"

Oh shit.

And these two were just starting to hit it off.

Cop: "Just what do you think you're doing, young man?"

Alden: "What does it look like, bitch?"

Cop: "Excuse me! That's it I'm calling your parents. I'll let Noel handle this one. Maybe she can smack some manners into you."

Alden: "Doubt it."

But it was Cruz that got to be the disciplinarian.

Cruz: "Just what the hell were you thinking, son?"

Alden: "Aww come on, didn't you and mom used to do fun stuff like this when you were my age?"

Cruz: "No. We were responsible young people."

Alden: "Well what happened? Because you certainly aren't responsible anymore. Just look at what happened with the maid, for example!"

Cruz: "That's it! You're soooooo grounded! Don't even think about leaving this house or calling your girlfriend, or anything!"

Cruz: "And you too, young lady! I know this wasn't all your brother's idea! You, missy, are just as grounded. It's house arrest for you, Bernadette Apland."

For some reason Caprice never got in trouble for the party. I guess we know who's the favorite.

Alden and Berney were so grounded that they even had to sneak off to school. Seriously, who grounds their kids from going to school?! That sounds like more of a reward than a punishment to me!

Sheryl: "I don't know why I'm getting involved in any of this Cinder-Rose business… I guess because I'm bound to your husband for the time being. And he's pretty leniant and lets me roam free, so I don't want to see him killed."

Noel: "What are you talking about?"

Sheryl: "The evil witch has her spies. They're starting to catch on. They know… that what they're searching for is in Appaloosa Plains. It may not be safe for your family to be here anymore.

Noel: "I don't understand. Isn't the whole idea of this keeper thing.. to protect it?"

Sheryl: "Sure. But what good does it do anyone if you're all dead?"

Noel: "But what about the… if we leave won't they find it?"

Sheryl: "Not sure you can trust me, huh. Don't worry I'm not on anyone's side. That means I'm not helping the witch. Look, I'm just giving you a heads up. Do what you think is best."

*sneak sneak sneak*

Noel: "Just where do you think you're going, young lady."

Bernadette: "Shhhh… you didn't see anything."

Noel: "Oh really. You think so?"

Bernadette: "Look, I know Dad grounded me. I get it, I won't go out and do stuff and won't have any fun 'till it's over. But seriously, I've got to be able to go to school! How am I supposed to graduate on time if I don't?"

Noel: "I guess you should have thought about that before you threw that party."

Bernadette: "God Mom, you're such a f***ing nazi!"

Noel: "That's it! TIMEOUT!"

You've got to be kidding me! Timeout, really? I hate you Generations!

So Morgan bought a horse she named Dancer. It's kind of a double name because I wanted to stick with the Christmas-themed animal names, but I also didn't want something obviously Christmas since it's actually Morgan's horse and not like Noel's. So this is Dancer, like the reindeer, but also I am a dancer, so it makes sense for my simself to have a horse named Dancer.

And speaking of animals named from Christmas themes… Nativity just had her birthday.

Here's the barn I built for Dancer.

Bernadette: "The parentals may be able to keep me from going to school, but they can't keep me from painting."

Getting homework help from a genie… where else could you find that besides from the Apland legacy?!

Dancer is meant to be a racing horse, so Morgan has been training with him. She's still pretty unsure about the whole thing, though.

Especially after he bucked her off when he had had enough of the running.

Morgan: "Where am I again?"

She was so shooken up by it, that she even fell off the horse when trying to dismount.

Morgan: "My poor tailbone is going to be so bruised."

Sheryl: "Hey, look. I know you don't want to hear this, but I really think It's time that your family find a new home for a while. Is this "Cinder-Rose" really more important than your family's safety?"

So Noel decided to trust Sheryl on this point and made plans to move her family to a new location.

It was supposed to be a secret…. But a certain somebody told a certain somebody about the plan.

Alden: "Oh Rusty, I really don't want to leave you… You should move to Starlight Shores too!"

Rusty: "Oh Alden! I don't want you to leave either! But I don't know if my parents would be okay with just picking up and moving, just so I can be with my boyfriend. But I'll talk to them.."

And so just like that, the Aplands moved to Starlight Shores.

You can take a tour of their (amazing) new house HERE

**********************************************************************************************

And so that concludes this chapter of The Tenth Apland: Keepers of the Cinder-Rose. Just as kind of an end note to explain the move to Starlight Shores… Alden and Bernadette were bugging out. They remained grounded even after I had the parents let them off the hook. And so they kept sneaking everywhere they went. And they weren't allowed to go to school, so Bernadette started failing… well she had a D. So I decided to move them to a new town, and it seems to have fixed the problem.

So next time the Aplands will be reporting in from Starlight Shores! Thanks for reading! Please do comment; they mean so much and keep me writing.

Until Next Time,

Happy Simming :D
