So take the photographs and still frames in your mind

It is very easy in life to become so insanely interested in something that it consumes one's every waking thought. It is just as easy to suddenly and inexplicably lose that interest and turn back into a normal human ( Read more... )

Have fun in the mist - be careful about tripping.

Uncle Michael?

The mist is indeed dangerous, but I am very brave.

Did I mention that it's also hard on the hair - makes it misbehave, and don't even get me started on what it can do to toast.

Oh no, you mean to tell me that I have frizziness in my future? Perhaps I need to rethink this mist idea; or at least not pack toast.

Do you have any current info as to the consequences of mist on other bread products? I had considered muffins.

It's indifferent to bread sticks, mean to wheat bread and holds rye in contempt. Muffins - depends on the size like so many things.

I am personally partial to those little tiny bite sized muffins, however I'm not adverse to consider the rather larger muffins if you feel it would help with the mist-y experience.

Do you perhaps think I should investigate my options with sourdough?

Sourdough has let me down on too many occasions. I suggest bagels - the bread version of sensible shoes. They can also be used as a weapon and a flotation device

I feel for you with the sourdough. I like the idea of the bagel, but I'm not normally big on the idea of sensible shoes.

Perhaps I should be considering a sweet yeast product, such as an Easter bun or Boston Bun. That way I'd have a sugar rush on my way through the mist.

Buns - solid decision. Can't go wrong with pastries. Donuts are the food of the gods. In some countries, they are used as currency.

I thought the bun decision might be the right one. I have something cinnamon and covered in icing, and a very small, very dense Scottish thing with sultantas which would probably make a good weapon. I think I might be ready.

Too bad I couldn't get a doughnut.

I have no idea what a sultanta is, nor what it might be doing on some poor simpleminded Scot (who probably spells doughnut without the "ugh", which they certainly deserve given their sugary goodness).

Now, you're ready to haul your buns off into the mist. If you wish to cover them with icing first, well,. . .. that's just strange.

I have heard that a Sultana is the wife of a Sultan, but what she might be doing with a Scot (simpleminded or otherwise) is anyone's guess.

I had considered just dusting my buns with icing sugar or cinnamon, but with the dangers I might face in the mist, I rather think icing is the way to go. Pink, I think.

Looking back over my posts, I see that I made an unfortunate spelling error which might have lead you to believe I was referring to sultantas, rather than sultanas. I can assure you that sultantas (small, rather cute furry creatures) will not be coming with me into the mist.
