So, classes started up again today.  What better way to avoid reading my textbooks than by doing an end of the year survey?  There is no better way.  This is the way, people.  Anyways, I've been longing to steal this from girlinacardigan, and she's being nice and condoning my thievery, so...2008!  And yeah, this is a few days late, but let's just let it slide, k ( Read more... )

Yay for sneak peeks! Seeing Denny made me angry, but Alex was wonderful as always. I'm not sure how I feel about the new blondie doctor. She is definitely very, very pretty though, and I can be very superficial about my TV characters, so that may be enough for me to like her. I'll have to wait and see. She was a little too perky in that clip, but maybe she'll be more normal during the eppy. Although yeah...we definitely do not need more characters. But, if all your A, B and C requirements are met (And Dixon...ooh that works as a D because of her name, as much as it pains me to say it because I adore MMcD, she needs to go too). If all that happens, there might be room for Dr. McPretty.

Also, I am very jealous of your friend's sister being at Grant Park with Obama. Oh my goodness, that is not fair. I'm actually from Chicago, don't know if I've mentioned that in a post before, so I was very sad that I was stuck in nowheresville while he was in freaking Grant Park. But yeah, I didn't see many Obama signs when I went home for the holidays. Which was disappointing, because I still have my Obama sticker I got the day I voted sitting on my dresser in my room. I really enjoy the fact that a president can make me so giddy. :D

Also, those sound like some very interesting Christmas movies. I haven't seen any of them actually, because I apparently fail at Christmas or something. I have seen that it's a Wonderful Life one though (and hate it passionately) so at least I've seen one. And also (very, very unfortunately) A Christmas Carol, retold with animated Barbie characters. Twice. In one day. I had no choice. I was babysitting the cutest little girls in the whole world and they wanted Barbie Christmas Carol. *headdesk*

whoa barbie characters? that's rough. i forgot about D for Dixon. Yes, she can go too. but since she's only been 'round for 2 epies (or is it 3?) i'm reluctant to include her as part of the general cast. she's just...awkward. like, PAINFULLY awkward. actually, michael scott is painfully awkward. dixon is on a different level entirely. i do like Hunt tho. so i'm willing to keep him. he's just so...manly and hunky. he's a man's man. derek...he's a faux pas manly-man. he thinks he's manly but really, he's not. the hair products do not equate to manliness. plus he's as moody as a girl. so. faux pas manly man. and hey! you're from chicago? i'm from st. louis! which is like 1/10 the size of chicago but whatev. it's actually kind of a pathetic city. not nearly as cool as NYC or Boston or Chicago.

Yeah, it was very, very painful. Scrooge had magically become Victorian England singing sensation Eden Starling (or something like that). The ghosts of past, present and future were all transformed into sparkly barbie faries in pretty dresses. Even Tiny Tim became a girl for some reason. I kid you not. It was horrendous.

Also, yeah. I agree Hunt can stay. Cristina really needs someone, and he does add a certain manly man quality. Alex has the manliness, but it doesn't work quite as well because he's not an attending. And yeah, Derek thinks he's manly with his fishing and his trailer and his fleece clothing. But he's so, so not. He uses an extensive collection of hair products. And, his manly men in the wild fishing/camping expedition...well, he threw the biggest, girliest fit possible and then hurried home to take bubble baths with Mer. Not that I'm complaining, but he's no manly man.

Also, yay for St. Louis! It's big enough to count as an acceptable city. Much better than living in the middle of a giant corn field, which is pretty much where I currently reside.
