So, classes started up again today. What better way to avoid reading my textbooks than by doing an end of the year survey? There is no better way. This is the way, people. Anyways, I've been longing to steal this from
girlinacardigan, and she's being nice and condoning my thievery, so...2008! And yeah, this is a few days late, but let's just let it slide, k

I also have a thing for Lacoste. I just find the little Gator inexplicably cute. Sometimes they have strange stuff though so I don't go there as much. The Gap's nice though, it's just like a cheaper J Crew.
Don't feel guilty about all the CAPS and incomplete sentences. Or the subjunctions. See what I just did there??? I started the sentence ABOUT starting sentences with subjunctions WITH a subjunction! OK. Just went back and reread and that was terribly confusing...Oh well. It adds character to your writng. It also gives a voice to the author. That's my theory anyway and the exuse I use. And don't feel bad because I seem to have a penchant for typing in all lower case. Which is terribly lazy and looks sloppy and unclear. I usually go back and fix it out of shame. Ah well.

I haven't shopped at Lacoste at all, but I know the gator you speak of. And it is very, very cute.
I'll try not to feel guilty about my horrible abuse of proper grammar. Hee. It does add character! But yeah, I write like this because it's how I think things inside my head. Apparently I think in incomplete sentences. Like all the freaking time. I can't help it. And I completely understand the all lower case thing. Actually, sometimes I think it looks really adorable and teensy. I do not know why...
And thank you for the song rec! I love it when people rec my music. I just listened to it, and it's very, very lovely! Thanks! :)

And since you're a fellow Obama fan, you'll appreciate this. You know how Obama had his huge celebration at Grant Park? My friend's sister was there and she was telling me ALL about it. I was EXTREMELY envious. Especially since I was up there not a week later. I was actually hoping to maybe spot some Yes We Can signs sitting in apartment/store windows, sort of a "hey, we love and support you!" morale boost. It would have been very Miracle on 34th Street-esque (I can't tell you how many times I watched that movie over break. It's my mom's all time fav, along with Chevy Chase's Christmas Vacation and the Shoot-Your-Eye-Out Christmas Story. And I apologize as that was probably way more than you ever wanted to know about my family's holiday movie-viewing habits). But yeah. Didn't see many signs so I assume they got taken down. Or else I was looking in the wrong areas. Anyhoo. So this might all seem completely random but your earlier post about the election night triggered this ramble... :)

Also, I am very jealous of your friend's sister being at Grant Park with Obama. Oh my goodness, that is not fair. I'm actually from Chicago, don't know if I've mentioned that in a post before, so I was very sad that I was stuck in nowheresville while he was in freaking Grant Park. But yeah, I didn't see many Obama signs when I went home for the holidays. Which was disappointing, because I still have my Obama sticker I got the day I voted sitting on my dresser in my room. I really enjoy the fact that a president can make me so giddy. :D
Also, those sound like some very interesting Christmas movies. I haven't seen any of them actually, because I apparently fail at Christmas or something. I have seen that it's a Wonderful Life one though (and hate it passionately) so at least I've seen one. And also (very, very unfortunately) A Christmas Carol, retold with animated Barbie characters. Twice. In one day. I had no choice. I was babysitting the cutest little girls in the whole world and they wanted Barbie Christmas Carol. *headdesk*

Also, yeah. I agree Hunt can stay. Cristina really needs someone, and he does add a certain manly man quality. Alex has the manliness, but it doesn't work quite as well because he's not an attending. And yeah, Derek thinks he's manly with his fishing and his trailer and his fleece clothing. But he's so, so not. He uses an extensive collection of hair products. And, his manly men in the wild fishing/camping expedition...well, he threw the biggest, girliest fit possible and then hurried home to take bubble baths with Mer. Not that I'm complaining, but he's no manly man.
Also, yay for St. Louis! It's big enough to count as an acceptable city. Much better than living in the middle of a giant corn field, which is pretty much where I currently reside.
