As for your vocab question... Well, I know reading is a great way to increase vocab. I used to keep a list of words I liked that were new discoveries to me. I'm not sure how helpful that was though. I used to get the word of the day thing from dictionary.com too, but I'm not sure that I ever actually assimilated any of those words into my vocab, so who knows. Just reading is probably the best way.
And I'm glad you liked my license horror story. It felt so epically horrible when it happened, but now I just find it really, really amusing. I honestly cannot believe how quickly I failed. I barely had time to even feel nervous, and he was already making me get out of the car. So sad.
Also, I don't completely hate John Mayer anymore. I haven't found a song I love as much as Slow Dancing, but I do admit he's a talented guy. :)
