because the election alone wasn't enough drama...

Oh, Grey’s.  You and your never-ending drama.  It almost makes me feel a little bad for continually wishing that Hahn would just go away already.  I mean, seriously, Grey’s.  Controversy, much?
we’re getting preeeettty spoilery in here, folks )

Congratulations to America for not putting John McCain in... from an Australia perspective I was hoping you'd make Obama president so good on you.

(McCain and Palin scare the absolute crap outta me).

In terms of Grey's there definitely needs to be a character cull - next they should get rid of Izzie and George, let them run off together into the sunset again and Lexipedia can go with them (or at least get FAR FAR less screentime). If it just focused on Meredith and Derek and Christina and Bailey and Mark and Callie I'd be a much happier fan rather than all the extraneous characters that appear to be hanging around SGH.

Sigh... They just seem to keep adding more and more characters - almost like they can't think of storylines so they add someone new and then run out of things to do with them so add someone new.

I liked Hahn up until she became a permanent character - I don't think they fleshed her out enough and I think the lesbian storyline was just... too abrupt all around (although she did some AWESOME stuff in there especially the leaves scene). But meh.. it's done now...

Oh, me too. Especially Palin. The thought of her being that close to the presidency makes my skin crawl. I'm very happy she's back to Alaska now.

Grey's definitely does need to get rid of some characters. Getting rid of Hahn was good, but I also find George very expendable, and the same with Lexie. I guess she could work as reoccuring to allow for the occasional sister scene with Mer, but we don't need to be following Lexie's story every week. I'm torn about Izzie coming/going mostly because I am really enjoying the new Alex/Izzie stuff. And we certainly don't need to be adding all these new characters like Sadie. I'm really not looking forward to her much. She just gives me a bad feeling.

Oh how I miss season one when all Grey's needed was two attendings and five interns to tell compelling stories. Sometimes, less is more.
