It's dark and wet and horrid outside and if it weren't for the lure of a new Alan Bennett play this whole "going into London" thing would have slid right off tonight's agenda.
BAH
Some not entirely related things:
- Suicide is Painless. Jim Sweeney writing (dictating) about Euthanasia. Well worth a read if a little... *stares blankly at wall*
- The National Theatre's new season is up on their website. I very much want to see London Assurance but MOSTLY go look at the Platforms. PTerry's doing on in January!
- It's the middle of November apparently. WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN and why didn't any of you point it out *panics a bit*
- I'm still quite in love with @The_Globe and their quizzes (well and just The Globe obv.) Last question's an easy(ish) one. Which Shakespeare play has only one female character?
- I am trying VERY hard not to think about what happens if First Capital Connect decide to start striking on Decemebr 16th as they might... I have HIGNFY tickets for the 17th and Nation tickets for the 18th and however much I have sympathy with the rail workers I will actually cry if they stop me seeing those things. Actually of course getting into London should still be possible if complicated it's just that I think other lines don't run late enoguh to get me back out again...
- An Archive Of Our Own goes into open beta tomorrow! So excited :D:D:D
