Our halfhearted attempt at the sales was not HUGELY successful I fear though I think I came out of it the best. New long sleeved top, hooded jacket thing, pyjamas (with polka dots) and a rather nice sparkly top that ight be used for New Year's Eve.
Tomorrow is Bridesmaid dress shopping, which of couse won't result in actual dresses but with 5 of us we have to start somewhere :-S
Have just been watching The Thirty Nine Steps... missed the start and not sure the plot made any sense at all but Rupert Penry Jones is always nice to watch *g*
Actually a fairly full day for once (this holiday gap of mine I have planned to be full of NOTHING). A bit up and down in places but we're just having a glass of dessert wine and it's all very civilised.
