How did it get to be Holy Week already? I mean I know Easter is early and all but I am so not ready it's unbelievable!
Rather sadly it rained this morning, first time that's happened on Palm Sunday in ages, and so (I'm told) our Parish Eucharist procession with donkey (well Mule) was rather shorter than normal and the donkey in fact came into the Cathedral... I rather wish I'd been there to see it but I went to the later service to wave incense around (or set my handbag on fire as Dad keeps saying which will only make sense to those of you who have seen a Thurifer with incense in a church). The singing of the Passion was, as always, beautiful and I find however many times I hear it certain lines make my skin tingle (the crowd shouting crucify, or pretty much any of Jesus' lines with their beautiful harmonies).
Agter which I went for lunch to celebrate the end of our Lent study course and rather wonderfully got offered a ticket for the Dress rehersal of Carmen at the Royal Opera House *flails happily* (she apologised the tickets wouldn't be near the stage but, quite frankly, I've only beenonce and that was a rather generous birthday present from my parents so just getting to go at all is shiny beyond words!)
Anyway I have got my Seoul pictures onto the computer so I shall attempt a post about the week later this afternoon, first I need tea and a lie down as I've suddenly come over all tired (was wondering why it took so long) between Seoul the travelling and the Terracotta Army last night I haven't really stopped in a while...
