yuletide is coming ♥
(how am I so excited by Yuletide and yet grumpy as anything whenever Christmas gets mentioned?)
Oh I'm not even close to ready, I have about 9 fandoms I want to request and I have to cut those down and then pick characters and it's all FAR TOO EXCITING and also terrifying what with my inability to write fic at the moment. (Though actually I have got a relatively good start on my hd_holidays fic so hopefully the momentum of that will keep me going through my other Christmas challenges.
I had a lovely glass of wine.
We watch Stephen Fry's programme about HIV and AIDS and really the thing is I sort of knew most of it and it's horrendous and awful and lots of it is slightly outside my udnerstanding but yes. I don't really know what you do when people are so willfully ignorant. Deal with the ones who are just ignorant first I guess but still :-S
Tomorrow is Rainbows sort of training thing (well meeting with my mentor) and then quite a bit later on there is slemslempike and comedy things which should be very brilliant.
I'm going to have another glass of wine to knock me out because I want to sleep tonight damn it all.
(oh the icon is because I just had the realisation that Have I Got New For You is back NEXT WEEK and they were a bit funny in the Radio Times about maybe it not being PERFECT anymore but I don't care because it's Ian and Paul and it's back *is not at all counting down*)
