So a catch up on things I have seen this weekend (probably minus Acklesfest 'cause that'd take a lifetime to explain the sheer squee and number of times I actually flailed. Really it's a miracleI didn't hit anyone..

First off you all suck because not one person has mentioned Would I Lie To You and there was Frankie Boyle and oh... it was the pilot for WILTY where I first fell amdly in love with the Scottish psycho ♥

Also David Mitchell is, as always, love and he and Lee Mack ahd better inspire some form of fic because David said to Lee:

"You've created a universal template of mockery"

Which is just quite beautiful and perfect. Also tehre was Angus which made me happy.

After which I watched CSI NY and tehre was a knight in shining armour and lots of lovely Flack stuff but rather too much Peyton for my liking.

Then I watched ER and wibbled madly as nobody bothered to properly look for Ray and then became quite in love with the idea that Stanley Tucci is going (it seems) to be a regular on Er, they get good actors soemtimes, no?

Which, jumping back in time, takes up to Utopia

I wasn't spoiled, not even a little bit, and how joyous is that? Because I knew the John Simms spoiler obviously but I was being so happy about Derek Jacobi and then I decided that maybe Yana was in fact a future version of Jack but I didn't guess at all until the watch and OMGOMGOMG

*remembers to breathe again*

I'm sad there is no more Jacobi!Master because that would have been great but the similarity between Simms and Tennant leaping around the TARDIS almost (almost) makes up for it. There was much shouting in Fangirl Towers along the lines of SHT THE TARDIS DOOR and BE QUIET MARTHA and such like.

Really though most of the squee was about Jack.

Oh he came back. He came back properly and was fixed and was just like old Jack ♥

He flirted madly with everyone and was snarky and such a bitch it was beautiful (and was even bitchy about Rose when he wasn'y being sad about her, which by the way not so much with the trapped... quite a nice life she has in the AU I'd think)

Just. Just everything about having Jack back was great. There was no punch and no kiss but actually the snark was nice and the Doctor being so harsh which really grated and then that scene and Jack stripping off for the Doctor and him admitting that he ran away from Jack... he admitted that he deliberately left him and then he said Jack was wrong and that Jack was a fact and really I can't stress how perfect that scene was and then they smiled at each other and oh if Ten has ever smiled at anyone like that before I didn't notice it ♥♥♥

Martha and Jack had snark and sparkle too so I think the three of them will be good but I hope (oh how I hope) that Jack can break Martha's feeling of inferiority re: St Rose because really I don't blame the poor girl for being upset. Which isn't to say that I didn't want the Rose mentions because they were totally neccessary (bar the "trapped") but really it makes me a bit afraid of what Martha might try and do to gain the Doctor's love and I hope Jack can convince her otherwise.

Oddly despite all that squee it wasn't half as good as Blink. Well maybe half as good actually but not as good *stops babbling* I liked it (other than the awful leap of angst) but it didn't make sense in quite a lot of places. Mostly it was Barrowman and Jacobi that caused my utter love.

And there we are. The rest of the weekend was all about Jensen Ackles (and a bit about Jared and a bit about Normal and Joshua in Dark Angel and then quite a bit about Faith and Wesley this morning)

But lots of Jensen.
