In the never-ending debate over where warnings end and spoilers begin one thing that always comes up is that if you put too many warnings on a story sometimes you'll lose readers. This is particularly true, in my experience, when it comes to the thin line between gen and het/slash and whether you warn for pairings or not.

crack_van is one of the few places I'll try almost anything in a loved fandom and so, much to my surprise, I found this gem of a story.

It's Stargate Atlantis and it's by trinityofone so many of you may have read it.

It's also marked as Teyla/Rodney but DON'T let that put you off if you're a slasher or if you don't like shipping at all. It's really a beautiful piece of gen.

I'd also reccommend it if you enjoy languages or linguistics of any kind.
