Today has been RUBBISH mostly because all the things making me stressed (and so far I seem to have added at least two for every one I've sorted) have been things that are to some extent out of my control. At least I've had no way to control them happening/not happening and some of them I can see about to happen and STILL can't really stop/effect and I HATE that feeling.
So I just spent 45 minutes clearing one of the dumping grounds in our staff room because at least that had a start and an end point and a visible outcome.
Yay?
It's amazing how much tidier/more organised my living/working space becomes when I start to feel utterly out of control. I guess it's good? I mean if things go COMPLETELY to hell then I stop caring but at the moment I'm in that place of panic & vague dread where at least having an empty desk gives me the illusion of control.
(human brains are weird no?)
Anyway. So that this post isn't JUST me complaining/freaking out...
Is anyone else watching
The New Adventures of Peter and Wendy?
If you aren't then I HIGHLY recommend catching up with series one because it's adorable and funny and clever and because I'm in love with John Darling and you all need to be too.
They're just at the end of "season one" right now so you've only got 24 videos to watch and they're all in the 5 minute region so it's barely two or three normal episodes long!
They've got an
IndieGoGo campaign for season two and there are five days left so PLENTY of time to watch all of season one, fall in love and support them.
(please support them, I'll be heartbroken if they don't get their three season arc completed!)
(they just cast Jim Beaver as Mr Darling... that ahs to be a thing you want to see right?)
Meanwhile I have also started watching
Frankenstein MD but it's too early to offer a real opinion yet.
