We're getting perilously close to Deathly Hallows pt2 coming out... the premiere is in Leicester Square this evening and the midnight viewings will be a week today and then a week TOMORROW I'll finally get to see it and *flails*
I'm half contemplating doing a "my favourite thing about PS/CoS/PoA etc." from tomorrow for the 7 days leading up to me seeing it but knowing my ability to get distracted halfway through such schemes (and given the likely craziness of this weekend) we shall see *G*
But two HP related things whil I'm here:
Fiction Alley were
tweeting live from the Press Conference yesterday and a look back through their feed is well worth it for Potter fans (lots of the actor's favourite lines etc.)
Secondly there's
this interview with Jason Isaacs which I sort of just want to quote ALL of because he's brilliant and intelligent and clearly loves the films and his character. His answer about Lucius & Draco's relationship is particularly brilliant but also this bit which made me LOL
If you go to work, and you look alongside you in the makeup chair or in the canteen, and to one side is Alan Rickman, and then look the other way, and there’s Richard Harris or Michael Gambon, and Maggie Smith and Bill Nighy and Jim Broadbent and Imelda Staunton and Gary Oldman, who is a hero for my generation. If you look around you, there’s those people there, and they are all chewing up the scenery, turned up to 11, you make sure you bring your A-game. There’s a very healthy, very enjoyable rivalry going on. We’re all trying to out-act each other. We’re all aware we’re going to be in the film for three or four minutes, and I think you see us kind of relish the performance. There’s the very theatrical side of British actors playing itself out on screen. We’re all having frankly far too good a time to get paid for it. But anytime I offer, they won’t take my money back.
