Hello all,

*insert 2.5 hour pause*

(no really, this evening hasn't been at all busy *sighs* I mean partly fun because I enjoy choir but I really truly did write those words over 2.5 hours ago!)

Today has been rather busy all round to be honest but I've got quite a lot done, both at work and at home, so I'm not feeling TOO bad. I feel like there was something else I was going to say about today when I started the post but I have NO idea what it was... oh well.

There Is A Country by Parry is really fun to sing (that definitely wasn't it but it's true :-P)

I'm actually only just now watching the highlights if today's Tour de France stage but you can have my thoughts now given I do know the result *g*

Tour de France 2011 Stage 5 Carhaix- Cap Fréhel

♥♥♥ OMG YAY CAV ♥♥♥

He really is SPECTACULARLY good at what he does, even minus a proper lead out (though LOL at Geraint Thomas having to tweet that he wasn't REALLY leading out Cav, he only does that when they're wearing GB jerseys, and Cav was just sensibly following his wheel)

Anyway the cutest thing about his victory was Cav's GF tweeting this picture of her son who was quite happy...

The Intermediate Sprint was less fun but I'm glad ASO did penalise those being idiots at it stops me from being quite so OMG THEY'RE OUT TO GET CAV!

And Thor Hushovd still in yellow which makes me happy well it would if he'd stop replying to Lance Armstrong like they were friends.

Tomorrow is work and then manic preparation for Saturday because Friday is still a little up in the air. I'm sure all will be well.

(the Dean quoted Julian of Norwich on Sunday so her most famous saying has been very much in my head this week though he was using it to point out that Julian wasn't saying we wouldn't have difficult times... I think I need to read her Revelations of Divine Love at some point soon- I've never read it all)
