(no subject)
Is there anything sadder than the first night home after a con?
(stupid question, of course there is because it's exactly likethe first night back after a holiday or the morning after an AWESOME night before but you know what I mean :P)
connotations was, as ever, wonderful and this year the hotel was beautiful and shiny and there were staff everywhere and a man in tux playing soothing music in the bar and a fountain with FISH in reception and IDEK probably most of those things weren't key but they added to the enjoyment (at tea break they brought little snacks too like a shot glass full of maltesars or canapes or fruit cake and it was <3333)
Um.
Also the people were all lovely OBVIOUSLY and lots of interesting panels and probably just as many interesting side conversations after panels or before or when minioning or at every interval (I love being around fans and just being able to chat and hear new opinions or old history or both)
*sighs*
I am mostly catching up on the internet now and then TV tomorrow (though we did have a mini Downton Abbey viewing party <3)
