it's so weird to think that three weeks ago i felt like such a stranger on this campus. i feel like a part of it now, a piece that fits right in. last night i went to the frisbee mod party, which was incredible. i love that here nobody has impersonal get-togethers, parties where the main objective is to get drunk. here they sit down and talk between dancing, everyone is so fascinating and interested in so many different things.
today i went to the re-rad sit in at the library and it was so powerful. walking in on the board of directors and not angrily yelling, but standing as an organized unit of students who love this school was amazing. they listened to us. it gives such an air of hope that we can stand as a body and make sure our school is how we want it, not how they tell us it should be.
