i haven't done a post in practically eons, so...
i'm finally at hampshire, in my second week of classes. i absolutely love it here, the buildings are dirt-ugly but a ten minute walk will bring me to the most gorgeous view of the holyoke range or across a field into an apple orchard to do all my reading. everyone here knows what they love and is SO passionate about it. everyone talks to everyone else, it's like a huge family. my classes are incredible besides science and religion, aka. who is most pretentious. in environmental history we went to the top of a mountain today, in quantum physics the professor translated "entangled" to "fucked" and my fair trade professor is just bubbling over with enthusiasm.
overall, i just love knowing that i'm in charge of where i go from here, completely and totally. i can go ANYWHERE i want from here, i can't wait for div 3, i can't wait to travel somewhere exotic and dig my hands in the dirt and have the satisfaction of blazing my own trail there.
