Hand watering:
The only thing that suffered from our trip to Hawaii... the lawn. We had a power outage and the sprinkler system went whacky on us. We replaced a battery and then found the valve isn't working so there isn't any pressure to run the grass sprinklers. Meh!
I watered it good the other day and went to purchase a cheap manual sprinkler. That is what I'm doing right now. It may be a week before we get the other system working again and we've got 100 degree heat already! Hopefully with the watering we can keep the grass. I'd hate to see that as the casualty of our vacation. It could be worse. I'll miss a somewhat green lawn this summer if it doesn't bounce back?
