April Review:
Well, time to do a "Our Lives In Review" cause lots has been going on lately.
April 7th-11th:
Mike went to LA for the Pan Jiu-Jitsu Championships. He did pretty good mostly just because he went to do it and to support the other class mates he rolls with at his place of practice.
April 16th:
Alex had a field trip to the Railroad Park in Scottsdale and I was able to attend. We had an awesome day riding the train, playing on the playgrounds there, and eating popsicles! Definitely a memorable day. I took pictures but I haven't had the chance to load them on the computer or livejournal yet.
April 22nd-25th:
I went to Utah to attend ldstorymakers conference. The conference was excellent as always! I've been writing off an on, not as much as I was in December but much more than not at all. It's going places but a long ways to go. This month is my second month to do comic reviews for a forum that I've been frequenting since August 2009. I'm really enjoying it. I'll continue to do it for as long as they want me there. It's fun. Gives me good public exposure so I'm not such a spaz talking to people, and I get a chance to use my story making skills.
May 1:
Ethan turned 3! We did a family get together Friday to Saturday. Spent Saturday at the zoo. The boys had a blast walking around filling out the stuff that Nana put together, playing with their cousins, and seeing the animals. And we had cupcakes for cake after lunch. Ethan got a few presents too.
Also what happened this month: Grandma Kay came to visit while I was in Utah. Her visit was pleasant. I got a chance to visit her when I got back because she stayed till Tuesday morning. My parents had to put down their dog just before I left on my Utah trip. Tess's health declined pretty quickly and they felt it was time to let her go. Everyone is sad. She was a very good dog and will be missed. Our hearts go out to our family who feel her loss.
School ends this month. And then the SUMMER STARTS! So hopefully the time will go quickly and we'll have lots of fun this month! Love you all and come back and visit us often!
