The Good Parent, Matt
On Oprah this last week they did a show on "Fathers" that had a widowed father of a new baby girl on it. His name was Matt and his wife, Liz, died hours after giving birth to a baby girl. (Turned out to be a freak clot...) Turned his life inside out and upside down and with a new baby girl to boot. The man was amazing. And doing the best that he can. Apparently he ran a blog and had such an amazing outpouring of support, he got on the Oprah show. So I looked up his blog.
Found it and I have been reading it for the last hour. I like it. Minus the swearing. But if you want to read it here is the link. It's made me cry a lot tonight. But his baby girl is soo beautiful. His wife and his life with her was so amazing. She died a year ago this month. I don't know it is just a good read. Anyhow, I just had to keep the link around.
