Okay, so in Arizona they have this Prop 102 on defining marriage as one man and one woman. I had the above link sent to me and after watching it... all I can say is that I am furious that this Prop could possibly cause something like this to happen in our state, where the rights of the parents to be informed of what is being taught can and will be out of our hands. That is disturbing.
And I'm all for keeping caring active and responsibly plugged in parents involved in their children's education, letting them have a say in what they would like to see in the school system. I'm going to be spending a careful amount of time reading through all this information on Prop 102 so I can vote in a way that supports what I believe. I'm not a big political person or getting out there and discussing issues like this.
But it really bothers me that you can opt out of letting your child take sex education but yet you can't on homosexual issues. At least it could happen like it did in the state they talked about in the video.
Anyhow, just sharing.
