Turkey Day fun

Thanksgiving was interesting as it always is.

Starting off early and went to The Macy's parade. It was awesome as usual. The balloons were higher than usual due to great weather... Well, all except for Dora who had a foot dragging on the ground. One of the floats that passed by had two members of the cast of Spring Awakening. A guy in the group next to us looked at the girl on the float and said, "Dude, that chick is in it?... Guess who just bought tickets to Spring Awakening, This guy." It was hilarious to listen to.

The woman in front of us was playing with her cell phone and I found out something cool to do with two cell phones. Put them both on speaker and call each other then hold them a couple inches from each other and move them side to side a bit. It makes this really loud buzzing noise, kind of like one of those sound you hear that go along with time travel in movies. It was cool, and it amused me for a while while waiting for the parade to start.

The rest of thanksgiving was normal thanksgiving-like. Dad had no big experiment this year, but I made a green been casserole that may take the place of Cranberry sauce as my favorite thanksgiving dish. Usually I think fresh green beans aren't soft enough, but it worked this way. A family from church came over for dinner and one of the boys brought a Rubik's cube. I fail miserably at them. I can't even get one side all together. It was fun though, then foseball and the Simpson's, followed by the beginning of the Incredibles, I went upstairs to watch CSI (I think I'm starting to ship Hodgins/Mandy) and then back down stairs to watch the rest of The Incredibles. And pie of course, how could I forget about pie.

thanksgiving: macy's parade, random, thanksgiving: dinner, movies: the incredibles, tv: csi, csi: you kill me
