wheee good day.
okay so let me tell you what's been happening lately.
so yesterday i sleptover at mara's house because we needed some wifey bonding time since her b/f is away and i can have her all to myself ^_^
we walked over to dairy queen and got some ice cream and walked around the little mall by her house just chillin out. like 5 guys in a car came from behind us and just started screaming when they passed us. i was so scared, but it was funny :-P we went back home and went to bed.
then today we woke up super late (okay like 1 pm) and tried to figure out a plan to take the bus to dadeland mall, to no avail because my parents suck sometimes. we walked over to mcd's and had lunch and then chilled at her house more before we ate wendy's and then walked to the ice arena to meet up with some friends to go ice skate. and although i dislike ice skating, i went hoping to see some eye candy.
and boy did i ever. i met this guy eric. he's so cute ^_^ and it really made me happy to know he was talking to me. i'm trying to bring up my self-esteem, i really am. and i wanted to do something totally unshy and unlike me. so arthur skated up to him and told him mara wanted to talk to him. she sat him down to see how old he was and if he had a g/f (17 and no) and then introduced him to me. i kept trying to make converstion even though sometimes it died, but at least i tried :-P some dude, andy, then came up and started talking to the both of us, out of nowhere, eric barely even knows the kid, but apparently he tries to talk to everyone. so he was funny, and he made our convo a little more lighthearted. then eric said he wanted to go skate more because he was getting cold by just standing there. so he left and i took andy to meet my friends, then mara and i went to the ladie's room. while we were in there, eric came out into the little flood area place between the two rinks and looked around and went back to skating (so andrew said). so we went back and sat in the little seating areas in the rink i met eric at. and out of NOWHERE, eric comes up to the glass thingy blocking the seating from the rink and slams into it to get my attention. (!!!) so i was like yay! he came back to me. so he came to where we were sitting and basically asked me to go skate with him, so i did and we talked about random things (anything as long as there wasn't silence) and he kinda opened up to me more. he was less quiet, which was good, but he's such a bad boy :-P it's cute though. i just laughed. mara was standing against the glass yelling "HOLD HIS HAND, HOLD HIS HAND!" but we didn't. :-P oh well.
and then his friend skated up to us and was like "hey eric, we're ready to go." "you or me, man?" "us, everyone's ready, so let's go." me: "yeah, it is 9:30, and that's when you said you had to leave..." eric: "yeah but i feel bad leaving now." (!!!) and he skated me over to mara and asked for my s/n (one step at a time i guess. hopefully he'll at least IM me...) and i said bye and walked to mara and told her stuff that he told me (because i was on cloud 9 and was hoping someone would let me babble about him.) and a friend of mara's was sitting in front of me on this little bench in front of the glass panel, but facing me. and eric comes up, out of nowhere again and hits the panel and pretends to make out with it. i was so like "omg, he's the cutest thing..." and the dude sitting in front of me was like "wtf? you're making out with me?!" and eric's like "not you man, not you..." and he skated off.
sucks that i saw him skating with some other chick like 2 minutes later, but then he left via the exit that i was sitting near. even if he got her number, i got to talk to him more ;)
so i'm all excited. it was a good day.
and tomorrow i have to wake up early for a pep squad meeting, joy... -.-
