I can't even go into the details right now. I've been working with a fly stock for the past year, and am close to submitting a paper on the work. The stock was made by a former member of the lab, so I trusted it. I should not have trusted it. Today I proved that the stock is not what I was told it was, and that all the data is unpublishable.
