I think the title to this receipe is a little misleading. This was last nights adventure in the kitchen. I always find vegan baking to be a little strange. Mostly because we're not used to the textures vegan baking produces. When I read the reviews of this particular recipe it stated things like, "Tastes JUST like regular brownies." To which I proclaimed, "Woo hoo, I love brownies!" So, I joyfully went home from work yesterday to create these tastey, healthy browines. There in lies the oxymornic statement. Healthy brownies. Sily, girl. Not that these brownies did not turn out beautiful or tasty, they are, especially for being vegan. They came out chocolaty, mosit, and heavy (as most of my experiences with vegan baking have). Just, lets all be honest with each other.... unless there is some magical recipe I've yet to stumble on, these are no brownies. I'd prefer to call them... Dark Vegan Muffins.
