Books and FMA *squee*
*weeps at the injustice of it all* I missed the FMA showings! (while this may not seem a big thing to those who know nothing about FullMetal Alchemist, trust me it is a big thing) I just found out today that FMA was showing in Corvallis on Friday and Saturday (the sad thing is I couldn't go see it even if I wanted to, we had other things planned). But there is Hope! The DVD comes out on Sept. 12!
OK I'm done ranting now.
Back to books. of which I have three.
First off The Kingdom Keepers by Ridley Pearson. This book follows five kids as they find out that they have to save the Magical Kingdom from the Overtakers. This book was just fun and very enjoyable. It also answers the question 'What DOES happen at Disney after hours?' all in all I enjoyed it (I should come up with a rating system).
Next up Howl's Moving Castle and Castle in the Air both by Diana Wynne Jones. HMC is about a young woman named Sophie who gets turned into a old woman by the Witch of the Waste. She leaves home and just happens to run into the moving castle of the Wizard Howl, some chaos ensues. CitA is about young Abdullah as he journeys to save the princess Flower-in-the-Night from evil djinn. Both books are great fun and very funny and is a book all ages would enjoy (they are actually children's books, but I love them anyway)
Not sure what will be next. (will try and have a rating system by then)
