Once Again...
It's become a trend, I post an article and I don't post for another month or so. Although this is my LiveJournal and I can do what I damn well please, I feel a sort of obligation to tell you why I haven't been writing. As of late I have been writing for the University Newspaper; very MordantPuck type articles, not your ho-hum "The Football team is good" type ridiculousness. Writing some controversial and albeit humorous opinion pieces has made me decently popular, sometimes negitively; seeing as that I totally owned the Greeks on two occasions. According to my editor, subcription to the newspaper has gone up a substantial percentage since I started writing, and the opinion section is the most read. As any writer wants, I want my work and opinions to reach the greatest amount of people, I feel that writing for the Newspaper is my greatest chance; so as of late I have been focusing my mordant angst and sarcasm for that work. This isn't to say I won't be writing on the LiveJournal anymore, I still do feel an obligation to those who have stood by this site since it's early inception as just a tacked on collection of life stories almost three years ago. Once finals are over I will be writing several pieces for the LiveJournal and I am also working on grabbing my own website; hopefully a "www.mordantpuck.com" type deal. Finals will be over May 12th, after this date expect some updates.
As far as summer goes, my plate will be rather full with projects I'm going to be involved in; I will definately keep you posted on those. Here is some of the stuff I'll be working on:
1) Continuing work on my long-term Novel. I have 150 pages so far, my goal is to hit another 150 by August.
2) Working on a web-comic with several very funny people, details will be given as soon as I have them.
3) Possibly working on a small-scale RolePlay Game for the PC.
4) Attaining my Florida Real-Estate License.
5) Going to Summer Classes.
6) Getting Seven of my close friends to a good level in World of WarCraft.
7) Attaining and possibly creating MordantPuck.com.
8) Writing in General; LiveJournal, Prose, Short Stories, etc.
As you can see my summer is going to be pretty busy, yet I will keep all of you posted on my activities; plus you can expect several updates here chock-full of hilarity and pineapples.
