Slept on the couch last night.
Still haven't gotten out of "bed".
This is because it's now daylight, and I'm kind of ass-naked. :D
It's how I sleep.
Aaaannnyyywaaaayy. You all needed to know THAT horrifying little tidbit.
I have this nasty headache in my eyes, which means it's going to rain soonishly, I hope. Because if it DOESN'T start raining, I'm going to shrivel up and DIE. x_X
I want to watch Full Metal Jacket again. XD It was REALLY REALLY REALLY FANTASTICALLY GOOD. I am amazed, because 2001 only holds a modicum of my attention span. This is largely because it's so visual. FMJ at least has really kick-ass dialogue. And wartime correspondants. :D Mmm. Niels & Billy are LOVE.
Hey, I have an hour before I have to be anywhere at all... I'd be tempted to read portions of "Kodachrome" and laugh at its utter BADNESS, except that, y'know, I uh... I don't have anyone to explain how utterly bad it is to.
Though I think someone was once described as a well-hung deer in the headlights with a very large hard-on. So. I think that pretty much explains how bad it was. It was rollickingly hysterically a NaNoWriMo piece, but y'know what? XD I LOVE IT ANYWAY.
It's funny. I really do love my flawed writing beyond words. I'm very fond of "A Statement in Smoke", and I'm kind of greatly amused by "Kodachrome", despite all their faults and horrorshows. And complete lack of research. :D
I love running off pure inspiration, which I guess makes me more the fantasy writer than I really want to be. My genre is, unfortunately, science fiction. I have noooo patience for the fantasy genre anymore (exceptions: The Thief series and One for the Morning Glory, which I ought to read after I'm done Lord Hornblower [WHERE DID I PUT THAT!?])
giving_ground mentioned vampire watermelons today, so I had to find that old picture of Bina and her pet watermelon :D (Ren is STILL in my brain screaming "WELL IT MIGHT COUNT SOMEWHERE DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT!!!!! BRING THAT INSIDE!" [XD] Which continues in conversation of Bina counting off on her fingers "... o_O that's an even number, so all those negatives cancelled each other out. :D" and Ren answering with his ANGRY face "~___~ Tempt me. Go ahead. SEE WHAT HAPPENS." I LOVE THEM. :D), which meant that I went through portions of the rest of my spambox.
Dude, I have levelled up TONNES in three years. ^^ <3! WIN. Major huge win.
Anyway, the following has now been made apparant in my brain:
MY SKETCHBOOK HAS NOT BEEN TOUCHED IN TWO MONTHS.
FIX THIS.
How this works:
If you're new to this game, this is to fill Lilu's sketchbook as often as possible, because drawing is just as cathartic as writing, and sometimes I'll get to draw something fucking AWESOME (Proof. Proof. Proof.). So, we all make requests, which may or may not ever get filled, depending on how this goes for Lilu's time periods, inspiration, and MEMORY. XD;
Rules-ish-things to instill order (though chaos is better :D ):
- You may request as many sketches as you want. Only things I really like will ever be, y'know, inked and/or colored. :D
- If I don't get to yours, I don't hate you. I just, probably couldn't get anything out of it. >__> Like, at all.
- I'm more comfortable drawing my own characters, unless you have sketches or drawings of yours that I can use as reference, and a touch of hobbies ("He's a frontman in a rock and roll band, and he kills vampires and zombies and shit like that. :D", says karimuffin) But y'know, I'll still TRY if you have awesome desc. abilities.
- I tend not to draw porn. o_o Every time I try, it becomes laughably BAD. So. If you're in the mood for humor, request porn. :D Also, I have very few actual!pairings in my head (Niels/Billy, Tren/Nabel, Henry/Ernestine, and THAT'S ABOUT IT. XD), so I won't draw anything iffier than "I FLOP ON YOU" with the rest of my characters, anyway. XD
- I have great enjoyment of "Draw this of your characters in THIS style" (Proof.), but very few actual requests for it. (Have done Castlevania Belmont style, and also have done Final Fantasy Tactics art style. :D)
- Just because you suggested an action and a subject DOES NOT MEAN I will do just exactly that. XD Sometimes I misinterpret things ON PURPOSE!! GASP!!
- INSPIRE MEEEEE! Make me WANT to draw! *FLAIL*
