Better Work Day
I could wait and write this during my lunch break but then I'd get less lunch...so clearly that's not an option.
Today is a little better at work because it involves a lot of paper pushing and less of the actual...going out and planting bombs and robbing banks, etc. That's the part that I always have minions for. It's disgusting to think that technically, that's what I am in this company. It's not entirely my job title but I'm sure that the actual job title is something like 'Disposible Unit'. Companies love that sort of double-talk. Well, I suppose that one's not so 'double'. This is an evil company, though. They tend to be a little more straightforward. Which is the first thing I'm going to fix when I'm in charge.
I'm trying to type this but at the same time I'm having to talk to Bill Fergus because he won't leave. I'd gladly try and recruit him as a minion in normal circumstances but he is so very stupid. Every day, he comes in here and bothers me. I think I'll make sure he gets killed in the next mission. Things happen. Easy.
He's FINALLY left. Perhaps he got the message. More likely, it's nearing the start of lunch.
One problem with being as intelligent as I am is that I've already finished all of the paperwork related work for the day and I've been here for two hours. Then I have nothing to do but look busy for the rest of the day or else I have to go out in the field again. I've been thinking of designing a new system for them in my spare time but it's a very delicate job because it has to be good enough that it makes a difference and I get a promotion but not my very best work because you should NEVER reveal all your secrets. Really, it can't even be CLOSE to my best work. So I've been trying to figure out the exact level of intelligence I should release in my design of the system. I've had to discard a lot that I already came up with. Ah, right, and additionally, it has to be good in a leadership sort of way so that I get promoted up relatively the right stream.
I can't wait to get past the tedious bit.
