[For Chris]

Nearly two weeks into the month of winter and Lennox couldn't find a single thing wrong with it. The weather was perfect, it wasn't too cold, like winters sometimes got in Long Bay, and the snow was fresh and clean, not like the shit that piled up in the streets of cities. It was refreshing and he loved it so far. He imagined he wouldn't get ( Read more... )

Chris had woken earlier shivering and had pulled himself away the warmth and comfort of his husband to start a fire. It'd only taken a few minutes before he'd gotten one going and he'd quickly slipped back into bed, curling up under the blankets, the warmth radiating off of Lennox.

He'd fallen asleep almost immediately and it was another several hours before he felt a shift behind him and a light touch.

Still mostly asleep, he gave a soft sound of acknowledgment and instinctively pressed back, eager to feel more of that warmth against him, all around him.

Wrapping his arm around Chris's midsection, Lennox wriggled closer, pressing one of his legs between Chris's thighs, moving into his warmth. The temperature in the bed was perfect and Lennox was convinced it would take an awful lot to actually get him up and dressed. With Chris here beside him, there was no reason for him to get up anyway, so he was perfectly content to lie where he was.

"Morning," he murmured against Chris's shoulder, his eyes closed, his lips brushing his skin. "You're warm." It was nice, like they were untouchable.

"Mmm," Chris replied sleepily as he let out a quiet breath, his body shifting against Lennox's again, his fingers gliding over Lennox's forearm, every thing warm and perfect around them.

Still half asleep,he gave another quiet sound and murmured softly, "Morning."

"You awake?" Lennox asked against the back of Chris's neck, still holding onto him, his arm tighter around his middle. Chris was talking, but that didn't mean much of anything, not first thing in the morning. He could just be responding to Lennox's words, not really hearing him at all.

Giving a little test, his hips pushed forward gently against the back of Chris, a slow movement. It was warm enough in the cabin with the fire and the blankets that they didn't need to wear anything to bed, which Lennox was more than a little thankful for.
