What a wonderful thing to have Tommy's development recorded here on Lj! They send me all kinds of forms to fill, when did he first turn over? When did first crawl? bla bla bla, and everything is here, I didn't even imagine how useful this recorded information would be when I wrote it. :)
It amazing to read back about all those things that came naturally, then disappeared and re-acquired with hard work. Pointing, for example. I didn't remember he had that at 15 months.
As for Tommy development now, he learning new words each day. I can distinguish the difficulty itself from the stages of development, but he is determined to learn to speak. He is now at a stage where a normal kid would be between 12 and 24 months old, but the important thing is, that he is covering these gaps.
