Going to a dinner theater tonight to see Grease. I know, wtf right? It was a Christmas present from my dad to my mom and me, and Grease was the first show the theater was putting on that we were willing to see. So that'll be interesting. I want to see how they do Cha Cha. And they're obviously going to mention that stupid reality show that I don't watch.
My story has to have another 10 pages done by next Friday. I'm sure I'll have it, but I won't be happy with it. I want to have the story done, but I know it's going to be novel length. It's impossible to finish in 20 pages total. But having this class makes me write. Without the deadlines and the constant support and reminders, I don't think I'd be writing as much. Plus the feedback has been amazing, and I don't know what I'd do without it. It's great to have 15 other people reading your work and giving you completely honest feedback. A few people read my stuff on here, but most of the comments consist of "it was great." or "loved it." I really need criticism, and that class gives it to me. It shows me what I need to change, what people don't buy. I took my story in a completely different direction thanks to that class, and I love where it's going. I can't wait to finish it.
Still having some jetlag. I skipped the Dean's List dinner last night and went home and slept. I watched Legally Blonde first. Holy crap, Victor Garber played a bad person! He never does that! He's always the sweet guy on the Disney movies.
I watched Saved this afternoon. I LOVE that movie! It explains everything about why I hate religion. Not spirituality, don't get me wrong, I believe in God and I believe in being a good person. And I believe that if I am a good person, I'll go to heaven, or wherever I go. But religion has too many rules. If God wanted us to be perfect, why would He make us so different? It's so true. And Macauly Caulkin (I know I butchered that spelling) was fantastic. He's a rollerskate! I loved him.
Ok, gotta go. I'm off to the theater. See ya.
