PING'S 18TH
More 18-yr-old peeps are finally joining the club!
This round it's Ping's 18th!
First up, shall bore you with what I did the day before: BAKING! (first time baking all by myself..)
Can you guess what this is??
Ohh it's rising!
MACAROONS! Poured my heart out to make the chocolate flavoured ones but it failed to the point of.. me not being able to use them.
Had to sieve impossible ingredients; icing sugar and powdered almond and 'machine-beat' egg-whites AND mix everything together.
Second batch I made were caramel flavoured and this is how it turned out, not very macaroon-like I know but ah well~
And I started making BROWNIES!~ (meant to be a cake)
Brownies were MUCH easier to make, just pour everything in and stir~
Did not put enough oil around the pan and the whole thing was stuck hard onto the pan so I had to improvise..
TADAHH~~ This is the best I could make out of the whole chunk!

Then it was TAO'S! Went with Hsiao Ying and Claire(both Ping's cousins; so many I know T.T)
HY wanted to blindfold Ping and she was freaking out like hell on the way there~
Experienced extreme heat under the Sun too, pity Ping.. aiyohh.

Starters!
Ping and muah salad; can say I really hate salads cos' it's a super cold and full of veg dish, blehh!
HY's soup: Pumpkin Soup
Ping and my soup: Mushroom soup; really really mushroomy!
Ping and I ordered almost the same thing for the courses except for the main entrée.
She got her Spicy Stingray and I got my Sirloin Steak; other than that, everything was the same! (coincidence! really!)
Claire's first time at Tao's and she tried the same thing I did on my first visit! Pork Ribs!~
Gosh I love this steak! HY ordered it too; both medium rare ><

Yin and yang~ Ping got the white and mine the black~
Ping gobbled up hers with seconds!
I ate around 1/3 of it and I was done, too full to take in anymore if not I'll just regurgitate.
OHH LOOKIE LOOK! IT RAN THERE!

On the way to E!Hub, we got Ping to get her first(well second actually; she closed hers when she was younger) ear piercing!
She was throwing vulgarities all over! Look at Claire's face; lol the face of being squeezed cos' of someone else's pain ><
WOOHOO! Shall be looking out for matching/cool ear-studs that we can wear together!
After which we went to catch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.
Like I said, HP deserves a post all to itself so it'll be in the next post.

Finally went to WhiteSands to have dinner and out came the presents!
