Mandi gets to come home tomorrow! Yay! The docs were able to avoid the toxins doing any damage to her kidneys and she is doing well. We visited her last night and tonight and she seemed happy to see us. I felt bad for her. Her two back legs had been shaved in parts so they would withdraw blood and a syringe had been taped to one of her front paws. That's where they were administering the fluids needed to flush her system. Last night she was very docile and not moving much but tonight she was more like herself, only very timid. We could tell she didn't like her arm being bandaged up. Poor Mandi! And poor me and Jim when we see the final hospital bill! The original quote was $2,000 to 2,500 and that was before the third day was needed! Everyone makes fun of me for having pet insurance, but they'll cover about $1,500 of it!
