So I went back to skip 220 to sort of catch up on LJ. I skimmed some stuff, read some stuff, and I have a bunch of open tabs to deal with.

The Outlaws

I love your icon! I absolutely love limes. Limeade. Key Lime Pie. Margaritas. Lime, lime, lime. Mmm.

Anyway... Thank you. I'm actually pretty fast with knitting scarves and stuff (not that I need anymore, but they're good practice). And I'm working on an afghan that I'm crocheting (which I'm really fast at). The sweaters will be a different story though. But practice helps.

Dang, she's all that, a bag a chips, and a knitter too!

Yay! Snow and getting to enjoy your nest for a little before taking off for rafting. Which sounds mostly like a blast, and I hope it's all good.

I am beyond spoiled by my Denise needles. I am learning how to knit socks with the local Stitch n bitch group and they swear I need to learn to do it with double pointed needles, so I'm trying, but if I can ever avoid it, I am never using anything but my Denise needles. They are knitting LOVE!

I have some sites bookmarked for patterns and yarn, I'll email ya. I'm just a beginner too.

Oh cool. I'll watch for your e-mail. I'm impressed that you're trying socks. I have heard they're much easier to do with double points though. Somewhere I have half a hat made with double points. It was not working well for me. I think I'd like to try a hat pattern using circulars though.

Oh my gosh, it seems like they've been there forever. Glad you have your space back. *hugs*

Yay for seeing brandil!

I have that start-and-stop thing with knitting too, very much so. We should knitting-enable each other!

Yeah. They were hear for almost two weeks. It was a very long two weeks. I love them, but I'm glad to have the house back to myself.

Get some yarn! Knit a scarf! You can do it!

www.herrschners.com

Get on their mailing list. They have different yarns on sale every week, including the "expensive stuff," at significant discounts. They send out a catalog in the mail every once in a while that has a code on it for free shipping.

I crochet a lot, knit a little, and have a *serious* amount of yarn that I love to share, so email me, and I'll share, too. :)
