All kinds of stuff today:
1. Go answer aimeelicious's poll about character death in fanfic. It's open to any fandom.
2. Stolen from doyle_sb4 and entrenous88, the Cliff-Shag-Marry meme:
You name three fictional characters or real-life people, I have to pick one to push off a cliff, one to marry, and one to shag. Either gender is okay.
3. It is snowing its ass off here. But there won't be anything on the ground when it's time to go home. :(
4. Fanfic Author/Reader Appreciation. - Today I'm combining the two and giving you brandil. She's not super prolific, but I love her writing and I adore her feedback. She's got an abandoned WIP that I read and liked before I knew her through LJ. I've since gone back to read bits and pieces of it again even though I know she's not going to finish it. That's okay with me, cause there's some hot sex in there. *g* But her fic that blew me away was Fett for Bot a Spike/Warren fic that she wrote for a ficathon. She actually made Spike/Warren work and the fic was funny and hot and full of wonderful geeky references. It was an assignment that I would have cried over, but she handled it like the master(cue 'bator' joke) that she is.
Aside from the Buffyverse, Brandi's also involved in Queer as Folk (US) and has started a spectacular, smut-filled series called The Tutelage of Justin Taylor. She follows the canon storyline and fills in all these missing scenes (or expands on the scenes we get) in wonderful detail. You want to read some hot fic with rimming? As a reader, it's hard to beat brandil. She reads most of my stuff regardless of pairing, which is a delight to me since I like to write just about anyone/anything. Her comments often go beyond, "Hey, nice story." or "OMG that was so hot" to actually tell me what she liked about it. So, my love to Brandi today. ::smooches you all over, baby::
